At your install appointment we will trim, layer, texturize… whatever is needed to create a flawless blend with your natural hair and show you how to style your hair with your extensions so you’re prepared to recreate at home. Hand Tied Wefts
A weft consists of a collection of hair strands weaved to their own thread. Hand tied hair extension wefts are sewn to your natural hair typically using some sort of beaded track, we call it the foundation, depending on the method your stylist is using to create your track.
Machine Wefts
Machine weft extensions are a collection of hair sewn together by a machine. They are thicker and heavier than hand tied wefts and have a wider fabric seam at the top. Machine wefts are affordable, durable and can be cut to any length you desire.
Tape-Ins
Tape-in extensions are one to one and a half inches of sections of hair that are pre-taped with medical-grade glue to your hair. The extensions have to be professionally installed by a licensed cosmetologist. Tape-ins can not be DIYed, unlike clip-ins.

For shampoo we recommend a sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner. For tape-in extensions you need to use oil free products. Our stylists can also recommend some of their favorite products if you’re not sure what to pick!
How long will one set of extensions last me?
Typically they can last up to 6 months. However, we have seen them last longer with clients that take great care of their extensions.
How do I take care of my extensions during the summer?
The best way to care for your extensions when your around the pool or beach is to wet your hair with tap water and spray in a professional leave-in spray. This will help with any tangling and protect from chlorine water/ salt water. Avoid any sunscreen on your hair or scalp with the active ingredient Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethanethane, which can turn hair extensions orange.
